Two Bijni Students Overcome Odds to Excel in HSLC Exam

In Assam’s Bijni, two students from underprivileged backgrounds have shone brightly in the HSLC examination 2024. Despite coming from poor families in a remote village, Kunal Nandi, son of a carpenter, secured 85%, and Puranda Kumar Biswas, son of a farmer, secured 84%. These determined students, with dreams of becoming engineers, prove that poverty is no obstacle to education. They were honored with Bihuwans by local youths, bringing pride to their homes and inspiring many.
