Nagaland Ties Up with HLL Lifecare to Provide Affordable Medicines

The Nagaland Health Department has signed an MoU with HLL Lifecare Ltd to supply affordable medicines, implants, and pharmacy services across the state.

Under the agreement, a central warehouse will be set up at Chümoukedima to supply medicines to Citizen Welfare Pharmacies in hospitals, while Amrit pharmacy outlets will be opened in government hospitals.

The initiative aims to reduce treatment costs by ensuring access to quality medicines, surgical items, and implants, including for cancer and heart-related conditions, and strengthen healthcare delivery in Nagaland.
