NFR to Conduct Advanced Survey for Lumding-Silchar Railway

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is set to undertake an airborne electromagnetic lidar survey along the critical Lumding-Silchar Hill Section. This survey, slated during and post-monsoon, will analyze soil stability, fault lines, water accumulation, and more. M/S Garudauav Soft Solutions Private Limited has been awarded the tender. Advanced techniques including LiDAR will provide detailed data for ensuring railway safety and efficiency. The survey aims to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures, enhancing the reliability of the railway section.
