NHIDCL Terminates Contractor for Delayed Jorhat-Jhanji Four-Lane Highway Project

The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) has terminated the contracts of Sadguru Engineers & Allied Services Pvt. Ltd. for two packages of the Jorhat-Jhanji four-lane highway project due to persistent delays and alleged breaches of contract.

The firm was awarded the projects in January 2024, with completion scheduled for August 2024. However, despite repeated notices and extensions, the work remained incomplete. NHIDCL has directed the company to stop all work and vacate the project sites within 15 days.
