NIA Charges Kuki Militants for Killing Four Civilians in Manipur

The NIA has charged Kuki militant groups, including KNA, KNF, and UKNA, for the January 18, 2024, killing of four civilians in Ningthoukhong Kha Khunou, Manipur. The attack aimed to incite communal tension.

Luminsei Kipgen, alias Levis, a 35-year-old militant, was charged under the IPC, UA(P) Act, and Arms Act. The group used sophisticated weapons in a planned assault, killing victims, including a father-son duo, and recording the act for propaganda.

The incident highlights the need for peace and justice in the region, with investigations ongoing to identify all conspirators.
