NSUI Election Turns Violent in Guwahati, Candidate Injured

A scuffle broke out during the NSUI presidential election at Rajiv Bhawan, Guwahati, injuring candidate Jinsh Bora. He was allegedly assaulted by Mithu Ahmed and two others and is now undergoing treatment at GMCH.

A case (43/2025) has been registered at Bhangagarh PS, leading to Mithu Ahmed’s arrest and judicial custody. Police are investigating the incident.
