Over a Crore Illegal Marijuana Plantations Are eradicated in Tripura by Assam Rifles

The Assam Rifles, in partnership with the State Police and Tripura State Rifles, have effectively destroyed 30,000 illegal marijuana farms in the General Area Lembucherra in Tripura, in a gallant effort to counter the growing drug trade. The well-executed operation has dealt a serious blow to the drug problem; the market value of the destroyed marijuana is believed to be over Rs. 1.05 crore.
