In a shocking incident, a pickup truck driver was brutally beaten by a group of people in Digboi on suspicion of cattle theft. The vehicle, transporting cattle from Digboi to Tinsukia, was vandalized, and the driver and his assistant were physically assaulted. The driver claimed the attackers were members of the village guard force.
