Woman Fatally Shot in Her Home in Karbi Anglong

In a shocking incident, a woman was shot dead in her residence late Monday night in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district. The assailants, who remain unidentified, gained access to the victim’s home in Diphu through a dug hole and shot her at close range before fleeing the scene. The motive behind the attack is unknown, and authorities have launched an investigation. Chief Executive Member of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Tuliram Ronghang, condemned the incident and promised strict action against the perpetrators.
