Poachers Apprehended in Kaziranga National Park

Forest officials from the Sakmuthi forest camp in Kaziranga National Park conducted search operations and successfully apprehended two poachers. Niloy Baruah, along with former forest officer Pradip Goswami, led the operations. The arrested individuals, identified as Uhinath Urang and Samung Timung, were found in possession of a handmade gun, gunpowder, and mobile phones. They have been presented before the Kaliabor Subdivisional Judicial Court and subsequently transferred to jail.
