Rahul Gandhi Pays Tribute to Zubeen Garg, Calls for Transparent Probe

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited the samadhi of late music icon Zubeen Garg at Sonapur, offering floral tributes and meeting the bereaved family. He praised Garg’s honesty and legacy, calling him “beautiful and unshakable like Kanchenjunga.”

Gandhi urged the government to ensure a transparent investigation into Garg’s death in Singapore and expressed solidarity with Assam’s people. Reacting to the visit, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said it was “better late than never” and welcomed the gesture.
