Sarbananda Sonowal and Lurinjyoti Gogoi File Nomination Papers for Dibrugarh Lok Sabha Seat

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) chief Lurinjyoti Gogoi officially submitted their nomination papers for the Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency in Assam. Sonowal, accompanied by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and other BJP leaders, filed his nomination amidst support from allied parties. In contrast, Gogoi sought blessings from his late parents before filing his nomination, representing the opposition alliance INDIA. With Assam’s Lok Sabha elections set in three phases, Dibrugarh’s polling is scheduled for April 19 in the initial phase.
