Gaurav Gogoi Nominates for Jorhat Lok Sabha Seat, Pledges Collective Representation for Assam

Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi submitted his nomination papers for the Jorhat Lok Sabha constituency in Assam, emphasizing that his candidacy signifies a unified struggle for the people of Assam rather than individual ambition. He highlighted the representation of various marginalized groups such as ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, tea laborers, and unemployed youths. Accompanied by party leaders including state unit president Bhupen Kumar Borah and leader of opposition Debabrata Saikia, Gogoi reiterated his commitment to serving the interests of Assam. The nomination ceremony witnessed the presence of prominent leaders, including Raijor Dal president Akhil Gogoi and Congress’ Dhubri candidate Rakibul Hussain, reflecting a broad coalition of support.
