Sarma-Gogoi Clash Over Alleged Corruption in Karbi Anglong

A political row has erupted between Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi over an under-construction mansion in Diphu, allegedly linked to KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang. Gogoi hinted at corruption, comparing the property to Delhi’s “sheesh mahal”. Sarma defended Ronghang, calling the attack an attempt by “hostile forces like Pakistan” to discredit Karbi Anglong’s progress. Gogoi hit back, accusing Sarma of shielding scam-tainted allies.
