Schools in Manipur reopen after two months
Schools across Manipur except for Churachandpur district reopened on Wednesday for students of classes 1 to 8 after an unrest-induced break of two months, fetching embattled chief minister N Biren Singh a sliver of praise from guardians for a “positive” decision despite many of them in the valley keeping their wards home on the first day.
