SEBA Instructs Schools to Hold Aadhaar Camps for Students’ Biometric Updates

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has directed schools to hold Aadhaar camps to ensure students aged 5-7 and 15-17 complete Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBU) and link their mobile numbers. The initiative, to be completed by September 10, 2024, aims to prevent issues in applying for competitive exams, where updated Aadhaar is increasingly required. This follows recent challenges faced by NEET, JEE, and CUET aspirants due to outdated Aadhaar information.
