Shameful Assault in Guwahati: Woman Molested by Drunken Miscreant in Geetanagar

A distressing incident unfolded in Guwahati city on Friday night as a woman was allegedly molested by a vehicle-borne miscreant in the Geetanagar area, near Gurukul Grammar School. The victim reported being physically assaulted by an intoxicated man, part of a group causing disturbances and harassing women in the area.

The victim’s husband, who confronted the assailant, was also reportedly assaulted. The miscreant, driving an ‘Innova’ with registration ‘AS01FC6812’, is now the subject of a police complaint filed by the victims at the Noonmati police station. The incident highlights the concerning issue of public safety and the need for swift action against such perpetrators.
