Shraddha Kapoor Reveals Why She Rejected Lucrative Film Offers After Stree 2

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has revealed that she turned down several film offers, including projects promising substantial payments, following the success of Stree 2. During a recent Instagram interaction with fans, the actress explained that she preferred waiting for a compelling script rather than rushing into another project. She admitted that the break was challenging but expressed satisfaction with her decision to prioritise meaningful roles over financial rewards.

Shraddha is now preparing for her big-screen comeback with Eetha, directed by Laxman Utekar and scheduled for release on December 4, 2026. The film draws inspiration from the life of renowned Marathi folk performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar, celebrated for her contributions to Tamasha and Lavani. Featuring Randeep Hooda, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Siddharth Jadhav, the upcoming drama marks Shraddha’s return to theatres after Stree 2.
