Special Train Heads to Dibrugarh with Stranded Passengers After Derailment

A special train is transporting 600 stranded passengers of the derailed Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express to Dibrugarh. The derailment near Gonda Junction resulted in two fatalities and several injuries. Rescue operations at the site have been completed. The special train, which departed from Mankapur at 8:50 pm, will have the same stoppages as the original express.
