Special Train Service Between Guwahati and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Extended to Handle Passenger Rush
To manage the increased passenger demand, the special train service between Guwahati and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will continue for six additional trips in both directions. The train will run as per its current schedule, timings, stoppages, and revised composition.

- Departure from Guwahati at 23:20 hours on Mondays: July 15, 22; August 12, 19, 26; September 2, 2024
- Arrival at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 20:45 hours on Wednesdays
- Train No. 04680 (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Guwahati):
- Departure from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 21:30 hours on Fridays: July 12, 19; August 9, 16, 23, 30, 2024
- Arrival at Guwahati at 19:10 hours on Sundays
The train will include 18 sleeper coaches, 2 general coaches, and 1 AC-2 tier cum AC-3 tier coach. It will stop at various stations during its journey, including Goalpara Town, New Cooch Behar, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Khagaria, Barauni, Chappra, Gorakhpur, Gonda, Bareily, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt, Jalandhar Cantt, and Jammu Tawi.
