Tezpur University Hosts Online Lecture Series on AI for Supply Chain Management

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tezpur University organized an online lecture series focusing on “Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Supply Chain Management.” The highlight was a discourse by Utkarsh Mittal, Manager of Machine Learning & Automation at GAP Inc., USA, who explored the transformative potential of Generative AI in supply chains. Prof. Dinesh Kumar from IIT Roorkee discussed the role of supply chains in improving industrial performance. Dr. Paragmoni Kalita, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, highlighted the series’ aim to blend theoretical frameworks with practical applications for a deeper understanding of AI’s integration with supply chain management.
