The Assam cabinet allots Rs 1,460 crore for the Guwahati sewerage project

In an effort to enhance the quality of life and sanitation in the city, the Assam Cabinet decided on Sunday to allot Rs. 1,460.37 crore towards the first phase of the sewerage project in Guwahati.

The Guwahati Sewerage Project (187 MLD), which is supported by JICA, was approved by the cabinet in order to establish planned sewage collection and treatment facilities in Guwahati.
