Three Convicted for Sexual Abuse of Minor in Guwahati, Sentenced to 20 Years

A Kamrup (M) court convicted Pappa Ali Khan, Bittu Saha, and Bikky Sarkar for sexually abusing a minor girl, sentencing them to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,00,000 for the victim. The crime occurred in January 2024, and after a thorough investigation by Woman Sub-Inspector Barasha Buragohain, the charge sheet was filed in April, leading to the successful conviction.
