Tragic Road Accident in Kaziranga: Heroic Rescue Effort Saves Trapped Driver

In the early hours of Tuesday, Kaziranga witnessed a tragic road accident involving an oil tanker and a truck. The tanker, traveling from Numaligarh to Guwahati, veered off the highway. As police worked to retrieve the tanker, a truck collided with its rear.

Tanker driver Rahul Das was trapped for an hour, suffering severe injuries. Constable Mridul Bora of the traffic police, aided by local residents, heroically rescued Das, carrying him on his shoulder to safety. Das was then rushed to The Kohora Model Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
