Train services between Lumding and Badarpur Hills are gradually returning to normalcy following ongoing restoration efforts undertaken urgently. The disruption occurred due to a train derailment and shrinkage between Jatinga Lampur and New Harangajao, leading to cancellations and rescheduling of passenger trains, causing inconvenience during the second phase of polling. The NF Railway authorities initiated intensive restoration works around the clock to swiftly address the situation and ensure the resumption of train services.
