Tripura Student Dies After Stabbing in Dehradun; Murder Charges Added

A 24-year-old MBA student from Tripura, Anjel Chakma, died in Dehradun on Friday, 18 days after being allegedly stabbed during an altercation in the Selaqui area. Police said the attack occurred on December 9 following an argument with five intoxicated men, during which racial and caste-based slurs were allegedly used. The accused were arrested on December 14, and murder charges have now been added. Investigation is ongoing.
