Tripura Student’s Death in Dehradun: Five Arrested, CMs Discuss Case

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday spoke with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami over the death of Tripura student Angel (Anjel) Chakma, who was allegedly assaulted in Dehradun on December 9.

Dhami informed Saha that five accused have been arrested and a detailed investigation is underway to ensure justice. The 24-year-old MBA student succumbed to his injuries after weeks of treatment. Police have added murder charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the accused are in judicial custody. Further investigation is ongoing.
