Two Illegal Brick Kilns Sealed in Chamaria After Special Drive

The Kamrup district administration sealed two chimney brick kilns, PKB and NKB, in the Chamaria Revenue Circle for operating without mandatory Pollution Control Board clearances. The action followed a special drive led by Circle Officer Nandan Nilutpal Bhagawati after the kilns failed to submit required documents despite prior notice. Authorities said the kilns will remain sealed until compliance, with legal action to follow, amid concerns over widespread illegal kiln operations in the region.
