Union Minister CR Paatil Reviews Brahmaputra Board’s Initiatives and Inaugurates Water Management Workshop

Union Minister CR Paatil chaired the Brahmaputra Board’s 13th High Powered Review Board meeting in Guwahati, focusing on advancing strategic goals and improving operational capacity. Key decisions included establishing a Central Planning Unit (CPU) and specialised cells for IT, AI, and GIS to enhance project oversight and management.

He also inaugurated the Spring-shed Management Workshop 2024, which discussed sustainable water resource management, emphasizing the importance of preserving springs as essential water sources for communities.
