Vaibhav Sooryavanshi May Get Chance as Ishan Kishan Misses 2nd T20I

India’s 15-year-old batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi could get an opportunity in the second T20I against New Zealand after Ishan Kishan was ruled out of the match. Batting coach Sitanshu Kotak indicated that Sooryavanshi is a strong contender to replace Kishan, although the final decision will depend on the team management.

Kotak also urged patience with the young batter, saying excessive hype and pressure over his selection could affect both the player and the team. Sooryavanshi has impressed with his performances but has featured in only seven of India’s 19 matches since making his T20I debut.
