Villagers Rescue Python After Goat Attack in Konwerpur

Local residents of Bagharchowk in Konwerpur rescued a 6-feet-long python on Friday, handing it over to the Sivasagar forest department. Pranab Dihingia discovered the python after hearing his goat’s distress cries. Upon reaching the scene, he found the python and witnessed it attacking the goat. The locals managed to rescue the python from a hole. Sadly, the goat did not survive the encounter. Recent disappearances of goats in the village had sparked suspicions of theft, but the python’s discovery suggests otherwise, indicating that it may have been responsible for the missing livestock.
