2 held for smuggling Exotic wild animals in Mizoram

The Mizoram Police have detained two persons and rescued nine exotic wildlife animals which are suspected to have been smuggled from Myanmar. The accused were nabbed in the state’s Kolasib district in connection with the case.

At least nine exotic wild animals were recovered from Vairengte in Mizoram while being smuggled to Assam, a police officer said.
