20 year old IIT Guwahati Student found dead in his hostel room

A 20-year-old student, hailing from Andhra Pradesh, was found hanging in his hostel room at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, police said on Monday.

The deceased student has been identified as Gudla Mahesh Sai Raj who was a fifth-semester BTech student of computer science and engineering.

However, investigations are underway to ascertain the exact reason of the death.
