54 Kilos of Real Human Hair Seized at Sabiha Gökçen Airport

In an operation carried out at Sabiha Gökçen Airport by the Customs Enforcement teams of the Ministry of Commerce, 4 suitcases of real human hair were seized.

As a result of the searches carried out, a total of 54 kilograms of natural human hair in the form of 262 ties was seized in the suitcases belonging to individuals. It was determined that the captured hair was worth approximately 800 thousand Turkish Liras.

While the captured smuggled hair was confiscated by the teams, the investigation into the incident continues before the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
