Rahul Gandhi to Boost Congress Campaign in Assam Poll Rally

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is gearing up to visit Assam on April 17 to kick off the party’s poll campaign for the first phase of general elections. He will rally for Gaurav Gogoi in Jorhat and support Lurinjyoti Gogoi, an Assam Jatiya Parishad candidate in Dibrugarh. This follows Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent visit to the state for a mega rally in Lakhimpur and a road show in Tinsukia on April 9. Assam’s Lok Sabha elections will take place across three phases on April 19, 26, and May 7.
