Ferry Stranded in Brahmaputra River Near Majuli, Rescue Operations Underway

A ferry carrying passengers, 12 cars, and 40 motorcycles is stranded in the Brahmaputra River near Majuli, Assam. The incident occurred while the ferry was en route from Aphalamukh Ghat to Nimatighat. A State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team has been dispatched for rescue operations.
