NFR Records 17% Rise in Freight Unloading in June 2025

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) unloaded 1,099 freight rakes in June 2025, a 17% rise from last year. Assam saw 627 rakes, with 315 carrying essentials. Other northeastern states and parts of Bihar and West Bengal also saw steady freight activity. NFR transported items like rice, oil, cement, and coal, ensuring supply and supporting regional economic growth.
