BPF Confident of Clean Sweep, Says Hagrama Mohilary

Hagrama Mohilary, chief of the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF), expressed strong confidence in the party’s electoral prospects during a workers’ meeting in Bijni, asserting that BPF is set to secure all key constituencies.
Speaking to reporters, Mohilary declared Bijni a firm stronghold and claimed the party is poised to win all 15 targeted seats. He dismissed concerns over internal dissent and defections, stating that such issues do not weaken the party.
Emphasising an open-door policy, he said members are free to leave or join, but maintained that those creating internal disputes hold no value for the party.
Mohilary also hinted at broader political expectations, stating he anticipated more seat allocations from the Bharatiya Janata Party, though he would accept even 20 seats.
The meeting, attended by party workers and leaders, comes as political activity intensifies ahead of the upcoming elections.
