Assam Lifts All Restrictions on Commercial LPG Supply

Guwahati: The Assam government has withdrawn all restrictions on commercial LPG cylinders with immediate effect following the Centre’s decision to restore supplies to pre-crisis levels after an improvement in the West Asia situation. Chief Secretary Ravi Kota said commercial LPG distribution will resume normally, while bulk LPG supply will be restored up to 50% of pre-crisis levels. Consumers with access to PNG will continue to be encouraged to shift to the cleaner fuel.
