GMC Introduces New Rules for Parking and Market Fee Collection

Guwahati, Assam: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has introduced new guidelines to improve transparency and accountability in parking and market fee collection. Under the new rules, authorised fee collectors must wear uniforms, carry official identity cards and issue only GMC-approved receipts. The move aims to curb overcharging and irregular fee collection across the city.
