NFR Cancels Two Trains, Reschedules Several Services

New Harangajao, Dima Hasao, Assam: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has cancelled two trains and revised the timings of several others following track settlement near New Harangajao station.

The Guwahati–Silchar Express (15615) on August 9 and Silchar–Guwahati Express (15616) on August 10 have been cancelled.

Several services, including the Narangi–Agartala, Agartala–Narangi, Guwahati–Sairang, Sairang–Guwahati and Rangiya–Silchar Expresses, along with the Agartala–Rani Kamalapati Special, have been rescheduled.

NFR said train operations through the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are continuing via Line 3 with enhanced safety measures while restoration work on Lines 1 and 2 remains underway.
