Mary Kom Criticises Priyanka Chopra Biopic, Says Only 10% of Her Struggles Were Shown

Six-time world champion boxer Mary Kom has expressed disappointment with her 2014 biopic starring Priyanka Chopra, claiming it portrayed only 10% of her real struggles and hard work. Speaking after her eviction from Bigg Boss 20, the Olympic medallist said several parts of the film were inaccurate and urged people to read her autobiography Unbreakable to understand her journey.

Mary Kom also ruled out the need for a sequel, saying her story was already widely known. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra had previously acknowledged that an actress from Northeast India might have been better suited to portray the Manipuri boxing legend.
