A Special Task Force apprehends two suspected heroin peddlers

The Dispur Police Station’s Special Task Force (STF) conducted a raid based on information near the Khanapara bus stand in front of Khanapara Veterinary College and apprehended two peddlers, including one woman.

According to sources, the two peddlers are Mofiz Ali alias Fata (26) and Manjila Khatoon alias Kunu (22) from Rampur, Mukhbi under the Nalbari Police Station. They currently live in the Ri-Bhoi district, near the ASTC Khanapara. The team discovered 63 vials of suspected heroin weighing 81.5 g. In addition, the team seized Rs. 3,000 in cash, two mobile phones, and eight empty vials.
