An ICCCC expert has arrived in Guwahati to look into cybercrime

An expert from New Delhi’s Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (ICCCC) visited Guwahati to investigate recent cyber crimes in the city. According to sources, the expert arrived on Wednesday and returned on Thursday after meeting with officials. The expert arrived in Guwahati to investigate after the city police busted the fake call centres.

Guwahati Police recently busted fake call centres in various parts of the city, arresting 191 people. There were 26 arrests among the 191. Meanwhile, an investigation into fake call centres is being conducted.
