Arunachal Govt Acts to Bolster Hospital Security After Seppa Attack

Following a deadly hospital attack in Seppa, the Arunachal Pradesh government has announced strict measures to enhance safety in hospitals. Home Minister Mama Natung and Health Minister Biyuram Wahge led a high-level meeting with senior officials to discuss security upgrades.

Key measures include installing CCTV cameras linked to police control rooms, biometric systems for staff entry, and boundary walls for hospitals. Visitor passes and mandatory uniforms for staff will improve accountability. Police booths and regular patrolling will ensure quicker emergency responses.

Weapons are now banned in public buildings, and private security personnel will receive police training. These steps aim to protect healthcare workers and patients, ensuring hospitals remain secure environments for care.
