As Guwahati Launches Green Revolution, CM Flags Off 200 Electric Buses
Assam’s Chief Minister Sarma created history on the first day of 2024 when he officially unveiled the National Common Mobility Card in Guwahati and started the installation of 200 air-conditioned electric buses. Following the introduction of one hundred CNG-powered vehicles last year, CM Sharma expressed his commitment to fostering an environmentally friendly future during his speech to Rupnagar residents. The revised fleet, which is expected to cost around Rs 261 crore, will be utilised for suburban transportation in Chandrapur, AIIMS, Mirza, Baihata, Jigroad, and Baihata.
