Assam rifles seize foreign-origin liquor worth Rs 12 lakh in Mizoram

Serchipp Battalion of 23 Sector Assam rifles recovered foreign-origin liquor worth Rs 11.99 lakh in Zokhawthar village of Mizoram’s Champhai district on Friday.

The seizure was made under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East).

A massive liquor haul was conducted near IMB XG-III at Zokhawthar village in Mizoram’s Champhai district, following which the foreign-origin liquor was seized.
