Assam Sees ₹2 Lakh Crore Investments Under Implementation, Says Minister Bimal Borah

Guwahati: Industries and Commerce Minister Bimal Borah said investments worth around ₹2 lakh crore are currently in different stages of implementation in Assam out of the ₹5 lakh crore investment proposals signed during the Investment Assam Summit 2.
He said several projects have already started production while others are under construction or in the pipeline. Borah also stated that the State’s customised industrial policy and the upcoming semiconductor project, expected to begin production by the end of the year, are attracting significant investor interest and are expected to boost Assam’s economy and employment opportunities.
