Assam to return fees of those who fail in exams for Grade III and IV posts

Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday announced that the state government will refund the fees of those candidates who fail to qualify in the ongoing recruitment exams for 30,000 Grade III and IV posts in various government departments.

About 14 lakh candidates have registered for the examinations, two rounds of which were held on August 21 and Sunday (August 28). The final round is scheduled to be held on September 11.

The candidates paid Rs 350 for the exams for Grade III posts and Rs 200 while applying for Grade IV jobs.
