Cachar Police Rescue Five Missing Students from Dhemaji

Cachar police rescued five Class IX students from Dhemaji who went missing and were found at Silchar Railway Station. The boys had planned to visit Aizawl, Mizoram, without informing their parents.

Cachar SP Numal Mahatta stated that the boys are revealing their reasons for fleeing, and security concerns are being assessed. They have been sent to Guwahati for further inquiry before being escorted home by Dhemaji police. Dhemaji SP Hitesh Chandra Roy suggested exam pressure might be a factor, but further investigation is underway.
